I am having the transmission in the old Winnie rebuilt and was doing some research. Question is there are several kickdown levers for the band in different ratios, which one will work best for the RV it is a 360/727

If you are using the original HD 727 trans from the Winnie I would not change the kickdown lever. If you are rebuilding using a different case pull all hard innards usable from the original HD and install in it. What year of trans is it? You can not go by the vin date on the Winni as it is titled per living unit manufacture date. You will have to obtain the engine and trans build dates from the components themselves. 79 and up use heavier duty servos but will not fit in older housings, some shaft sizes were increased as will and will not mix with older shafts so dates are important when ordering parts.

There should be a number on the pan rail below the shifter linkage that will tell what year and what it was built for.
