Does it completely stop it from rusting?

It supposedly converts the rust into a polymer like substance, and seals up the rusted area so water doesn't get back into the spot and continue the rusting process.

I was looking at Chassis Saver and Monstaliner, but I'm reconsidering.

The sound deadener is a solid idea, as well, but for a truck I'm not sure you'd gain much. You could do the doors, the firewall, and the floor boards, but my headliner is missing, and behind the seat is straight metal cab. I think one of the paintable /roller brush sound deadeners that you can prime and paint over would be better suited for the cab of a truck.

Unless someone knows where I can find a headliner for a 1984 Dodge D250 Royal SE Prospector....

actually most rust converters seal the affected areas from oxygen, rust feeds off of O2 so to stop it, you have to seal it from air completely.

Go to home depot and but roof flashing. 1/3 the price and works better.

I've bought there occasionally, now i get emails from them at least 3 and sometimes 4 a day. They have a location about an hour from me, they offered a powder coating class which 2 went to. 8 can't believe how easy it actually is to do. Vs what people charge to do for you (which is ridiculous) it's quite cheap to do as well. Biggest thing is getting the parts clean. I have my own sandblasting cabinet. Sometimes you have to pre bake parts if anything oily or greasy was on/ in them. Basically to bake the oils out of the pores. Their powder gun, an electric oven from Craigslist or a garage sale (has to be electric); and your choice of powder and you're set. I use a ~20x20" cardboard box as a "booth" with a piece of coat hanger sticking thru the top bent inside the box into a "hook".
