Does it completely stop it from rusting?

It supposedly converts the rust into a polymer like substance, and seals up the rusted area so water doesn't get back into the spot and continue the rusting process.

I was looking at Chassis Saver and Monstaliner, but I'm reconsidering.

The sound deadener is a solid idea, as well, but for a truck I'm not sure you'd gain much. You could do the doors, the firewall, and the floor boards, but my headliner is missing, and behind the seat is straight metal cab. I think one of the paintable /roller brush sound deadeners that you can prime and paint over would be better suited for the cab of a truck.

Unless someone knows where I can find a headliner for a 1984 Dodge D250 Royal SE Prospector....

actually most rust converters seal the affected areas from oxygen, rust feeds off of O2 so to stop it, you have to seal it from air completely.

Go to home depot and but roof flashing. 1/3 the price and works better.
