We used the aftermarket Lokar one on a 73 dart and it worked great.

I have one, but I'm keeping it as a spare for my truck. Part # you want is 4088095 and there is one dealer showing stock. They are Sheets (spelling?) Chrysler in Beckley W.V. and their phone # is 304-465-5627. This is a discontinued part and the # doesn't show as a good Chrysler # anymore, but according to parts locator, they have one. Good Luck. I would suspect the cable from an 80's year would be the same cable. I would have them look that up once and check it out.
