FOUND '86-89 Dodge D100 318 Closed Chamber Heads

I thought the "closed chamber" heads were only used on the TBI injected LA motors in '88-'89. I just did a valve job on my '87 LA 318 and they were not closed chamber. Are you sure of your application data?

Well, I believe that those are the #'s Rock Auto lists for that model. I looking for rebuildable cores at a reasonable price, that they will accept. They will go on my '65 273.

Yesterday, I ordered 2 Famous Brand 2D31 remanufactured 302 heads from Rock Auto. They had 3, so now they only have one. It was a 4 hour, online ordeal with customer service. I won't get a warranty because my '65 Dodge A100 van is not on the compatible vehicle list and their system only handles 17 digit vin #'s; my vehicle has 10 digits. I don't know when they will do another run on these heads.
