I have a 99 f150 standard 2door with a 4.2 I replaced camshaft position sensor four times now last time the sprocket/gear was chewwd up badly ever time it's been replaced it drives ok for about 50miles loses oil pressure any idea what's the reason this keeps happening

You need to look at the gear on the cam and see if it's chewed up. If it's rough it will chew up the gear on the cam synchronizer. You may have a oiling issue also, the gears should be bathed in oil either splash or sprayed directly on the gears.
