1995 Dodge , 2WD, 2500, 12 valve cummins Diesel.auto,posi.173K miles. I buy older cummins trucks , and SOME gassers, just to save them(hobby). this one was no exception. ONLY mods to engine are 4" exhaust & BIG airfilter(BHAF),
GOOD=All safety issues I could find were fixed, 4 new shocks, 4 new ball joints & pitman arm. Safe & meaty, load 'E' rubber(tires). Safe & meaty brakes. Loaded with Power accessories ,tilt, cruise ,and NOW everything works. new TPS. A/C just sucked down & blows cold. Got 14 MPG towing 6500 lbs up & down turnpike. Les than 200K on engine, so it will probably out live you now.
INTERIOR= Nice radio & speakers, brake controller.dash has normal cracking, but better than most.
BODY= Clean inside and underside of bed. doors are NOT bad(minor rust on bottom of left door, but not through like most). Only top surfaces are sun damaged. straight other then dent mentioned below.
BAD= needs alignment now, missing side molding on right side of bed. sizable dent in lowest part of right front bedside. rip in driver seat(i got estimate of $150 to fix),needs valve cover gaskets(I have them and EASY to replace).
I know NOTHING about the past history of this truck other than it lived in Central New Jersy all it's life (minimal salt use) - The auto trans (47RH) shifts better than it should for age and has probably had something done to it ?. Very Solid for age & area we are in. $5400. is the ONLY price- I will not take a penny less
