I have a 1990 Dodge W150,5.2, auto with cruise. No speedometer, but Odometer works?? I changed the sensor on the transmission, still the same. Anyone have a fix?

I've seen the opposite more than what you are asking about there's a worm gear that breaks and I have seen a kit for one eBay.
Maybe there is a problem on yours with the needle coming off?

take the speedometer out of the dash and you can run it with a drill make sure you are going the right way around.

I thought the 90 had both a cable drive and the electronic speed sensor. I've seen speedo drive adapters for the tranny end set up for both out of same housing. I know the newer ones have a different style of "print" for the numbers posted in the face compared to the older 80s ones. I have a couple up in the attic. All the way from 81 to 5-3 newest one I have is either 91 or 92. Don't know how many miles any show unless I get up on the attic again. I'm not using the 90s style in my trucks. which are an 83 and 85

from what I have found out the 1990 is the first year for this set up. The gauges all plug into the housing, including the speedometer. The speedo has 3 pins. If you have anything let me know. my mileage is 156K
