I am selling my Dodge D150 short bed. I rescued it from a field in Kansas and had great plans of fixing it up, but another project has come along and now I need to let it go to a new home. It's got a bullet proof 225 slant six in it, with the four speed OD transmission. It will run 70 mph down the highway and get decent gas mileage while doing it. It has recently passed a Missouri state inspection.
It's a pretty solid old truck. The body has some rust issues in a few places as shown in the pictures but the patina is right and it looks good as is. It gets thumbs up everytime I drive it. I was going to lower it and drive it to swap meets and car shows. Once it's yours, you can do what you like to it.
It has lots of new parts. Alternator, voltage regulator, tie rod ends, clutch and pressure plate have all been replaced in the last six months. Starts and runs every time. If I get the full asking price I have a brand new pair of tires and a full set of Monroe Gas-matic shocks that I'll throw in with the deal.
It's obviously not a show truck but don't waste our time with low ball offers. These trucks are getting harder and harder to find, especially ones that aren't rust buckets. It's a good solid start to a project or drive it as is. If you don't buy it, the next guy will. I'm asking $2500 for it and have a clean and clear Missouri title in hand. Located in Kansas City. Send me an email at bdtunks @ yahoo . com (remove the spaces) with any questions because I don't check back here very often. Thanks for looking!
