I picked this up a few weeks ago because my other daily beater pickup is having a recurring engine issue. But due to time and other things going on I’m not going to get this going before I leave for a deployment. I’m just going to swap engines in the other one. Anyway...
I don’t have a title (yet), the driver’s door latch is rusted shut and I haven’t been able to get it open to see the VIN. I don’t want to destroy the door just to get at that, but have been working on the latch with hopes it will open. As you can see from the build sheet that was under the hood this is a fairly well optioned truck for it’s day. This is being sold as parts but could be turned into a project truck once you get the VIN and a title made. It’s got it’s fair share of rust. I can’t get the engine to turn over, the starter won’t engage. Everything on the outside of the carb moves freely. Other than the rear bumper everything looks to be here.
Time is a factor! This HAS TO BE GONE no later than January 20.
