1975 D100 rescue project

The transmission rebuild is complete. It wasn't very difficult. I just don't have much spare time and my shop is not heated and during the summer it's hard to keep mosquitoes out. Because I have to work outside in the grass, installing the motor was going to be a problem. It was a problem getting it out, since the hoist was difficult to move even though it was on large plywood sheets. To move the motor here and there, I built this dolly.

Got the motor and transmission back in the truck(last summer). Treated and painted the core support I got from the junkyard.
Drove the truck around just a little. Adjusted the throttle pressure linkage. Shifts fine. But, I've taken it off the road for other work.
Here a picture of the core support before installation. DSCN1482.jpg
