If it was mine and I had money;
408 Stroker/A518/Dana and monster meats, with ladder bars.
But since I'm not rich;
About a 6liter/A500/ 8.75 with custom slapper bars and something like 325s on the back, and trying for 275s on the front. But I'd still run alloy heads and cylinder pressure in the window of 185>195 psi.
Or a Supercharged V8-whatever, lol. any trans, and with custom slapper bars

The first question to ask is what is your intention with it when it comes to using it later (street-rod, work horse, weekender, show truck, etc.)? That will guide your thought process as you go.
