01 dodge ram w/ a wire hanging ....

just had my trans rebuilt n replaced the engine in while i was at it ( finally ) ...

now putting everything together and got stumped ...

there is this one wrire from the drive side innner fender ( some kind of fuse board w/ a cover it it next to the battery ) is running down next to the starter ....

its black and loom on it w/ a bolt hole kind of circle connector ( at where a bolt goes thru it ) at the end ....

is this some kind of ground .....???? and where does it getting bolted down tooo .....

can anyone help with this situation ....

Ground wire. Should be bolted to the frame iirc

Lol yeah. I remember that stage. I did an angina swap in an s10 about 10yrs ago and it took me almost a year to complete at $7hr wage, and I have a crappy memory
 
i took some more photo(s) of what i dont know at where they go ....

the first photo is on the driver side. it has two plugs and i have no clue at where to go .. one is near the middle of the engine and the other one is in the rear of the engine close to the brake booster ...

passenger side valve cover. i dont have a clue at what goes here or at where it runs too ....

passenger side, some vacuum lines that has a small diameter fitting and where do they go is ....???

I'm not sure on these. The funky shaped one looks similar to the ac compressor plug on my 90. The small diameter vacuum lines go to either
A: hvac control head and vacuum port
B: the vaccum can to vaccum port
C: the purge solenoid/egr solenoid

Once again, this is as seen on my 90. Different intake and fuel delivery methods.

Do you have a vaccum diagram on the under side of your hood or a Haynes/chitons/factory service manual?
