I have upgraded two vehicles with HID lights and I could go back I would have gone straight to LED.
Truth be told I bought "cheap" hid lights on eBay for both. Only ever had 1 issue, a ballast went bad. I'm just going to get to the pro's and con's.

It's a 1992 cab and dash... Only ever else is old sheet metal. I am considering putting an old dash in it sometime though because they are not 100% plastic.

That is a very good question. Im planning on making the truck my daily driver once finished. If it were to be a dump runs and firewood truck then the non of would work for me but my plan is a little different for it I guess.

I'll be using the manual cab so the tunnel should work smoothly... And the gear vendors primarily for overdrive gear after 4th. Bring the rpms down save a little gas. As far as the granny gear, I have always liked them, make getting off the line uphill with a loaded trailer a breeze!
