Yeah, I was thinking that the tube went into the block...your leak is certainly not that. The pic seems to indicate that the tube mount is spot welded to the pan so as others have said the pan will have to come off to be properly sealed. I'd look for another pan so the turn time will be minutes...

...how bad is your ocd? If you can easily remove the tube from the block then thoroughly clean the parts and stick it back together with something like Permatex #1. You might also ask the guys over at www.p15-d24.com
