Who Here Owns This Ramcharger ?

You can swap a later ('79-'93) hood onto an earlier ('72-'78) body, but IIRC you need to use the later style cowl/wiper panel as well. US Body Source also offers an R/T style truck hood like the one in post #3.

    Tube steps

I had a set of Smittybuilt tubes on my '76 Blazer. They held up well even though I beat them to death. What year is your rig?

Anyone still use a CB in their rig?

Someone must. I was mainly thinking of having one in the RV for the weather band, and to maybe get the occasional traffic updates.

    Lights

The blue '77 was yours? Color me jealous.

What size gas tank did D150's come with?

What year? Don't quote me on this, but I think there were 3 sizes between the trucks and Ramcharger - 20, 30 and 36 gallon. I'm pretty sure my 91 D150 (standard cab, short bed) has a 20 gallon tank.

I love those Saabs. Very tasty. I have a soft spot for those old girls. Nothing else like them on the road.

Anyone still use a CB in their rig?

It's kind of old school, and some people will say it's worthless, but I just got a Uniden Bearcat 980 SSB for my RV. I've been thinking about getting something similar for my '74 Dodge. Is there anybody else still running CBs in their trucks? I remember when they were all the rage, but we're a...

Sweet Barracuda. I've got a '68 sitting in my garage as well. Yours is much nicer.

    Tires and wheels

How do you like the STTs? I've got Cooper Discoverer AT3s on two of my street-driven trucks, and like them a lot. Good ride, decent traction.

    The introduction of Dozer556

Agreed. I think I need to add some version of the Scout to my collection. They're really neat rigs.

    Moby Dick

Don't have her on the road just yet, but here's my latest. '74 D200 Club Cab, long bed. Previous owner had her for decades, and she sat outside (under cover) for the last 7 years or so, unused. Body is solid, interior is nice, but the vermin have chewed up a few electrical bits and rubber parts.

    The introduction of Dozer556

I'm an inveterate gearhead. My dad started the fire when I was very young, and I've been into anything automotive since I was a boy. I love cars, period. If it's got four wheels and an engine, I'm there. I'm not a complete brand fanatic, so you won't hear me hating on Brand So-and-So...
