I had to give your comment some thought. Yes, it does divert to the defrost vents most of the time. Other times it goes to the floor/panel vents. Some times it sets to the "auto" setting and then comes to rest wherever.

drag & drop couldn't do it, couldn't pull a photo from my file and drag it to the reply. It seems that either I'm in the computer file or this file, but I can't complete the drag -- what am I missing. (But I did get the full image file :-))
