Think my 2015 3500 6.7/Aisin has had a least 4 thus far.
Today it is in for the latest drag link issue. Had to leave overnight due to volume of the recall. It would seems all they are doing is torquing the nut and spot welding it to keep it from loosening.
Truck only has 9.5k on it and while...
I have a 2015 RAM 3500 Dually equipped with an HO 6.7 and Asin 6 speed auto that only gets haul use mostly on the highway. It tows my 15k of fifth wheel RV and my 24’ enclosed car hauler to ferry the Barracuda on long trips. It was delivered with 18” NEXEN tires that seemed to be ok. Lost both...
I was in J’ville Fl. At the time and hooked up with a guy that worked for B&M and he built me a custom unit for the 727 from a Chevy Vega converter It broke after about 30 passes. I thought I lost a rod at the time cause it was banging really bad by the pan at low RPM. Managed to drive home and...
Recent pic from the music city Mopar show. With any luck the Power Wagon will be there next year. There was at least 10 there for the show in 2017 and they all looked awesome. Attached are a few of them.
B7 is so overlooked and has a lot more metallic in it. In modern base/clear it looks really awsome. When I started stripping the car in 2012 and got a look under the trim and windshield were it had not been touched in forever I fell in love. I had no choice but to return it to that color.
727 trans are easy to work on and mod for the purpose. I rebuilt the 727 for the power wagon right on the tailgate in 98 and it still bangs hard shifts and running great!
Mine is B7 and it pops in the sun with all the flake, but dark in low light. I like B5 as well when done right looks awesome! Amazing how they can look similar but so different in a paticular lighting scheme.
In the RAM an Aisin 6 speed auto which kicks ass over my NV 5600 6 speed Manual in my 2000. Not sure the NV5600 could handle the tourque of the 6.7 HO motor.
The Formula S has a 727 that is modded for best shift and longevity with early 67/65 stuff, Big fan of TransGo! 727 trans are my specialty.
Pulled the 4.56 gears for more drivable 3.55’s. Much happier! Was raced like shown with original cast iron exhaust but “ driven” now and enjoyed more if you get my drift.
Yes for A bodies but I have been quite lately. I raced the Barracuda in the late 80’s on the 1/8 weekly to a best of 7.36 in basically stock config with a 509 cam and a small NOS shot. The car has never had headers on it or been cut. I have restored it to mostly stock and enjoy it as such with...
69 383 Bee in 84. Not sure but it roasted the fuel pressure gauge line then all hell broke loose. Did not bother pushing the clutch in and braked and bailed short some burnt arm hair. Had the 383 formula S ever since. It sat for 25 years but thrives today!
I wish I could use it more to haul my stuff but life has it ways. Only so much time. Won a nice battery charger/tender made by NOCO/Genious, I have not heard of before at the last car show in late 2017. Nice little unit and mounted it on the driver side battery tray and ran the AC cord up to the...
Truck still only has 6200 miles. All hauling the 5ver or car trailer this thing will never see the 1 million mile mark they are know for! Still glad I bought it cause it is a monster in total comfort! Still amazed how much power over my 2000 5.9 that was juiced up!
Dealer has done 2 oil...
