Well I have some pitting and a couple of holes that definitely don't belong in the drip rail and I can't trust plastic type "Bondo" to "not" absorb water and fall out so lead it will be in that area. Pizz on the epa.... All can say about them is they better not outlaw my 70s and 80s vehicles
I've bought there occasionally, now i get emails from them at least 3 and sometimes 4 a day. They have a location about an hour from me, they offered a powder coating class which 2 went to. 8 can't believe how easy it actually is to do. Vs what people charge to do for you (which is ridiculous)...
Progress on hold as we had an e3 tornado go right over head we got the baseball size hail out of it the tornado touched down a only few miles away but it has swamped all the body shops with insurance jobs
They have the bed about done, blocked out and straight, the sandblaster guy screwed me royally
Warped the hell out of everything.
He lied to me about doing it dustless blast style with the water /sand mix, dis it all with black beauty which I could have done right here.
Not at all happy...
First for the mods
DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE PHUCKING ADS
as in GET RID OF THEM.
I had to delete delete delete 10 ads back to back to back before I could reply to the post.
Nobody knows where I can get parts for these?
Not completely. The body line on the roof is but they do take the same windshield.
Actually if you use doors and fenders from 72-80 or 81-93 you can actually interchange cabs between those two groups
I've sweated alot of copper pipe over the years. I'm pretty sure I have the concept down.
Though lately I might sweat a dozen copper fittings a year. There was a time I did a bunch.
There are some pits/ pock marks in the underside of the drip rail. While I have this roof off and upside down I...
I heard there was a difference. What was it? I have at least 4 out of 80s-90s trucks here ( I'm gonna need 2of those). I remember there was a company who sold aftermarket sliders at one time? Kenco maybe? I'm sure there were others.
I do have a brand new solid window for an 80s pickup here as...
Where to buy? I have one of their "lo pro" covers on my truck and I broke the latch finger thing on it. Also the Velcro on the sides doesn't do its job like it used to, it comes undone and the sides flop around in the wind
Was wondering if the Velcro strips on the " long sides" is available to...
"wiping solder"? Huh?
I don't think id use panel bond as a seam sealer.i have a cut off roof panel for my other truck that just needs a little bit of help on the drip rail. I've got that sandblasted bare and am going to try and fill the underside of the drip rail with old school lead.... It...
I got offered a supposedly nice cab for my truck project via a different forum, but seemed like Orlando was a bit of a stretch to be able to take advantage of from Chicago ish
For Dodge 2wd Chevy version parts won't work (different spline)
Either a core with good output shaft and rear tail shaft or specially those two parts from one. Needs to be early version 96 down with provision for speedo drive. Maybe trade same parts even up for 99 diesel version.
Looking for 2, fitment I believe is 81-87.
Want one each for 20 gallon and for 30 gallon tank. (I have 2 trucks needing them)
I've had enough of reproduction ones that are far from accurate
Wow
What does this tank fit that you had to drive 900 miles away to get one to fit?
Strange you mentioned Ohio, as I was there last August for a weekend of camping but spent the Saturday driving all over the state collecting parts for my truck as well. Among my collection was 2 gas tanks for...
