Looks quite good. Not sure if it was an acceptable price. Sending one over from the US to France might not be more expensive...
But the chassis below your part is interesting too. Do you know what it is ? I guess it's one of the fiberglass guys project, or is it yours ?

The simple trick with the vapor barrier is:
- that you fix the upper, right and left edge to the outside surface
- that you push the lower edge with about two inches lenght "into" the door (cut to fit smoothly)
That's all. Any water will drop "into" the door and hopefully disappear through the...

I wasn't aware, that they switched from metal to plastic on late 70 models for the in cab tanks.
But anyway, the steel version should still fit right in...
Regarding mileage, also the standard tanks under the bed would fit, but then you would need to connect, place seperate lines...
In fact, long time no use could be the cause...
When the vehicle is sitting for a very long time outside, the tank willl "breathe" with every day / night temperature and air pressure change.
Especially when the tank is close to empty the humidity of warm air will find plenty of cold metal...
The VIN is actually D14AN9S148126 , without the "1N" at the beginning...
The body is definetely from the 70s.
The grill obviously was fitted well, but its from the mid 80s.

Yes, you´re right. The originals are horizontally and the aftermarket look to be vertically orientated.
But, at least, it gives an idea on how to build something to solve the problem... :thumb:

I´m searching for pieces or a complete set of the trim shown in the pictures.
It´s approximately one inch wide and used to separate the two-color-scheme right above the wheel wells...
Shown in the picture is all i have right now, so i mainly need the straight parts to complete the set for a 75...
Looking for the hardware that attaches the swaybar ends to the strut rods on 2wd.
Need 4 pieces of that to serve 2 vehicles...
Have never seen any reproductions. If anybody knows a place who sells repros or has some original laying around,
just let me know... !!

On page 7 it says 213.6" overall length for a standard cab with 131" wheelbase and 8' bed.
Don´t forget to add some inches if it has a step bumper and/or...
