Thanks guys. I'll tackle it in full this weekend. tonight i started by having someone turn the steering wheel while I watched the steering links/system below. The pitman arm appears to be fine, initially. I'll dig into it and will repost findings. Thanks again guys.
My 1979 W200 has pretty sloppy steering. Does anyone know how to pinpoint what it could be?
For instance, could the steering box itself be bad? Or could the knuckle be worn out? I'm new to the truck and this year of truck. So, if anyone has input to help me troubleshoot before I go tearing...
