How does one cut loose the cable/tubes that are used for headlight adjusting? Look to be plastic and if I tug on 'em I'm afraid I will bust something. Thank you.

I paid good money for a new set of wheel centers. Now I find the insert is plastic and one has completely come off/separated from the "metal" ring, rendering it useless. Why plastic on a center cap? Dumb if you ask me.

Thanks for the part numbers, I could not come up with anything on my own. Now with those numbers I was able to cross reference a Mopar #4383915 which would be a Dorman C95074 or Napa UP95074. I believe the C94574 (41.77") is for two-wheel drive and the C95074 (55.62") is for four-wheel drive...

The wet stuff is not coolant for sure. I found the trick to removing the plastic piece surrounding the gear shift, there are four small bolts under the rubber shift boot. The shift boot has a solid plastic tab built in to the forward portion and two spring loaded metal tabs built into the rear...

Bought as a ranch vehicle a 1996 3.9L 4x4 standard 5 speed new from dealer back then, as of May 2014 it has logged 266,000 miles. Don't remember any major engine work yet. Rebuilt engine control and fixed the driver's door hinge twice.
