Here are 2 Youtubes of my F1- One is 3min long of the finished F1 and the other is 6+ minutes long that shows the build process.

I used only 1 spring the left spring in your picture. Note: In the first picture (100_3650) I cut a short piece of rubber tubing and split one side of the tubing to prevent the hinge from contacting the bottom opening of the glove box.

Finished my last project a 1948 Ford F1 Custom in 2016.
