To each his own. friends of mine (& myself) have taken the "Do the mechanical first" approach. We usually ended up with a great running vehicle that looked like crap. I've found that as soon as a project is running correctly, it gets driven, leaving little or no free time for body & paint...

That is WAY too much. The seller has a bad case of B-Jitis!!!

I just checked my sales brochures for 64 & 65. Both clearly show the dash mounted shifter for an automatic. And on the options list it states a dash shifted automatic. Hope this helps

Mine was advertised as a 65, but title says 66. It has automatic on dash.
