Hi Bear sorry I haven't been on here in forever! Unfortunately the rad support did receive damage in the accident, I have been working on hammering it out as it is still one of the best rad supports I have ever seen. Certainly don't mind you making a list helps me sometimes when people think...
Thanks all for the kind words guys it's been a real fun project so far. I can't wait for the thaw and next spring so I can start getting back to work
on making her the ultimate tow rig.
dodgefred it was a really fun trip we got a lot of looks pulling it back, a few thumbs up and a some wow "I've never seen one before" comments. The truck and trailer is my buddy's it's an 01 24v 6 speed, they make pretty well the ultimate tow rig. That truck has towed just about everyone we...
This was with out a doubt the nicest grill I have ever seen on any 72-80 Dodge trucks. And 90 percent of it still is. Breaks my heart too because with the low Canadian dollar and the price and rarity of an NOS grille I doubt it will ever look as nice as it did.
Home at last!
After the first round of scrubbing!
Wheels cleaned and painted.
Rockers resprayed, this was all done in a few days time to get her ready for use in me and my wife's wedding. She said she wanted to use it with only about a week to go but I got it cleaned up and looking good...
Thought I would share some pictures of crew cab. This series shows the progress from start to current state. She's powered by a 360 4 barrel and a 727 right now. But in the future I would love to complete a 24v Cummins swap.
This was the first time I laid eyes on her she was a bit rough...
dodgefred I sincerely hope to though sadly its gonna haul some serious downgrades. I was told it was bought new in 79 to haul a Hemi Cuda and the guy I bought her from hauled a Max Wedge Belevedere. All I've got is a 80's Camper, a 76 Charger, and my D150 hahaha!
And this one here is my baby a 79 D150 Adventure SE with a 383 in place of the original 360. Sadly it doesn't still look like this it was involved in an accident. I am in the process of bringing her back to her former glory!
It may be too late but thought I would add my 2 cents worth. From my experience with this swap you need everything from the timing cover forward. So timing cover, water pump, accessory brackets, accessories, pulleys, harmonic balancer with some applications, and the bolts of course.
Hello all just joined the page and thought I would say hi. I'm from BC Canada.
I currently own an Orange 1979 Dodge D150 Adventurer SE regular cab short box with a 383 auto that is an accident victim that I am slowly rebuilding to its former glory, the truck was originally from Oregon and I...
