Lets see your Dodge trucks! Post some Pic's!

Left Side.jpgLeft Front.jpg

Here is the 37 Dodge truck I have for sale for $1800 WITHOUT the original flat 3 engine. It was originally a 2 ton flatbed. I took the front fenders, axle, and running boards off so it would fit into the bed of my 06 GMC pu,and then cut the rear of the chassis off so the tailgate would close. I don't have the original front axle, but I do have both front fenders, running boards, and the hood, and they are included in the sale.

I have a loader to load it in your truck if you don't have a trailer.

This would be the ultimate rat rod with a z'ed chassis front and rear to lower it to the ground,a straight 1 ton front axle under it,a 1 ton dually rear,a flat bed with stake sides, and a turbo Cummings diesel in it.

I don't have the Cummings, but I do have the dually rear with a Detroit Locker in it,and a 60's 383 with a 727 for sale separately if the buyer wants to keep it all Mopar.

I repeat, the original flathead 6 does NOT go with the truck.

Can I sneak in here with my Plymouth? Or are mini trucks and rebranded imports sacriledge? I do have three other full size Dodges, my Dad's last truck, a '78 3/4 ton long bed, my '86 long bed, and my '87 short bed. But this is what I currently drive every day. It's a 1980 Plymouth Arrow pickup I bought for $300 bucks at a salvage yard. Its got a 360 Chrysler/904 TCI-built torqueflite, and a narrowed 8.75 rear with Aerospace Component's rear disc brakes. I've intentionally put a 2:76 gear in the limited slip differential. It crusies at 80 MPH at only 2400 RPM, will do 115 MPH in second gear with a relatively stock motor. I've got Toyota Tacoma front hubs and rotors on it, so the wheel bolt pattern is all Mopar now. It's got new Bilstien shocks all round, new ADDCO heavy duty sway bar, and new heavy duty MOOG coils up front. Oh, and a 4130 four point roll bar. Right now, I'm just driving it. In early spring I plan to change some things, and then blow it apart for the paint and interior work to make it pretty. Oh, and I'll put a 440 inch Indy stroker in it at that time to round it all out. It weighs 2750lbs with my fat behind in it.

All the shiny interior panels you see are carbon fiber, that's what I do for a living, build aerospace carbon fiber stuff. I've yanked the dash pad off it right now, and am building my own custom dash pad base, so it will look quite different when I'm done. Let me know if you're interested in seeing more, or wish to hang me as a heretic for posting a mini/import Mopar on here.

No problem here showing your little Plymouth truck. That thing looks nice and probably a blast to drive! A buddy of mine has one but in red with the multi-stripes on it. I wouldn't mind buying it but he always want's way too much for it or anything he has.

Same here as John said.(j-miller) I had a Plymouth Arrow pick up I bought new, it was Black w/red-orange,yellow stripes and red-orange wheels,a 2.6 L. "HEMI" 4 cyl and a 5 speed. It ran really strong for a 4 banger.

Well, I've posted my lowered longbed, I think, but here's a direct side view of it. It's at the height I want it, but the wheels will go up to 17's when I blow it apart for a complete renewal. I'm also going to round the wheelwells, and I'm building custom inner wheelwells for up front. Also shown is a bit of a weird bird I did for a buddy a couple of years ago. This was a long wheelbase standard cab truck that was a motor home, note the primered area behind the cab. That was the pass through to the RV portion. The chassis also had about a 6' extension welded to the back of the chassis. When my buddy bought it, the RV had been removed so it was just a chassis/cab truck. He wondered what we could do with it, so I took him to our local all mopar salvage yard and we bought two beds, and I put them together. It'll haul a Jr. Dragster real well....Picture 175.jpgPicture 054.jpg

I like that, all ya need now is some of those dually fender extentions they used then,i'll bet a torineau cover will be expensive!

Yeah, it got the dually fenders shortly after this was taken ooutside my shop in Tulsa. A 12 foot tonneau! Yup, that right there'd be pretty costly, especially if I made it! I'm doing a black fiberglass tonneu for my Arrow, and just materials are going to run me close to $500. If I did it in carbon fiber, that'd add another $200 to it.

I've actually dropped the back of my '86 longbed since those pix were taken. They were in front of my shop in Oklahoma, and I moved my company, and five complete families, lock, stock, and barrel to Kentucky a few years ago. I hadn't moved the spring mount on the frame yet in that picture, I just had the Bell Tech dropped hangers on it and de arched new leaf springs. It still has just the slightest rake on it, which I like more than the truck sitting flat. The rear went bad on the truck, and I stopped driving it and probably won't drive it again until after I do a complete, frame off rebuild, including putting a new model rear under it with disc brakes, LSD, etc. I've also got a bit of a bump steer issue I haven't solved completely. But I'll get to it, my trucks aren't going anywhere except to be improved upon.

I'll be back there next week, but I don't miss it too much. The growth is just too much for me, I like to be a bit in the country. We were, and then the last year we lived there, BOOM!, they built 600 houses and a school next door. So much for riding all our dirt bikes, shooting off the back porch, etc. It was time to go...
My buddy has an all Mopar salvage yard there on County Line Road I'll be doing some "shopping" in while I'm there. But in truth, when it comes to Dodge trucks, I've got it better here. There's a great little Dodge-only truck salvage place in Bowling Green, everything keep neat, on Pavement (!) and organized. I love it!
So what're you doing in Colorado?

Button's 97 and 2010 Rams...

This my wifes 2010 Ram "Lone Star" edition with a Hemi. It's our family vehicle to all our sons sports tournaments and the bed is regularly filled with coolers, water jugs, sports equipment, chairs, and EZ-up, etc... The bed is Rhino lined and has a tri-fold cover. We also use it to tow all our ATV's and dirt bikes out when we go riding and camping.
The black 97 Ram 1500 is my daily driver for the past 8 years. It has a 5.9L / auto, fully loaded to include factory sunroof. The lift is a 5 inch Superlift with a 3in body lift, which clears the 37X12.50-15 Super Swamper SSR's. Rear shocks are Fab-Tech's as is the spare tire carrier in the bed. Flowmaster 40 dual exhaust with stainless tips, off-road lights mounted on the frame, pre-runner bar with 2 Hella 500's, 10in drop 'Alumastinger' hitch, Lund side steps, Bushwacker fender flares, and dual steering stabilizers are just a few of the items on my truck. She's my daily driver and I get looks and compliments everwhere I go.
