LMC is where i had to get mine, they should have both styles your looking for
But is it accurate that's the problem with the aftermarket ones
Been there done that
Are there aftermarket ones that are better than others or are they all the same with a different sticker on the box
Who actually MAKES them for LMC???

The only difference with the one I got is the orientation of the suction and overflow tubes on the top, and they have to make those slight changes so they don't get in trouble for copyright infringement, options are very limited for these truck parts unless you can find someone with nos parts but then your gonna pay a hefty price

I was just trying to help, but I do have a 20 gal tank with the sending unit in it, i will take and pull it out and see what it looks like and send send a picture if you would like
I have a 20 with a good one in it and I don't want to downsize from the 30 gallon tank that's in there now. But I'd rather have a 20 gallon one with a known good sending unit on it vs a 30 that I have to guess because all I can find are Chinese sending units that don't work right. What Id like to do would be to either transfer the gauge reading part of the old one to the new stainless sending unit body or somehow replace the fuel line tubes in the original. Maybe I'll put the 20 in the truck that originally was a 30 just until I can find a good 30 gallon tank sending unit I HATE Chinese parts especially when they don't work
