Here is my 1970 D100 Adventurer. I saw it about 8 years ago in an impound yard. I kept looking at it but it was so "ratty" looking, I couldn't really consider buying it. Then....I woke up!!! It's a MOPAR...its being neglected out here...I guess I'll see what he wants to "free it". I got it home and it had a frozen motor...318 LA block...auto....power steering....drum brakes....missing tailgate....flat tires etc. (The frozen motor is another story...but a cool one).
It now runs ....has some of the missing parts replaced...and ...NOW WHAT TO DO????? I'm not sure whether to drive it....sell it...or what??
So...I'll be happy to get some feedback and because its a California Truck...it's solid...just a hood dent or two. Let me know if you can take a minute...What do you think? I'm looking for about $3000.
It's in Bishop, California (High Desert....nice and dry!!)
Thanks,
Howard

Yep...that's what I was thinking...maybe a driver without too much more. I need to redo the brakes....but that's normal. The seats are needing some TLC and I think a friend would match the seat pretty well in black. I'm working on a 1972 Gold Duster and trying to buy a 1969 Roadrunner....maybe putting more into a truck is the wrong direction. Oh ....I just bought a 1973 (9-72 build date) Dart also. Seems I have MOPAR fever......
Thanks for the feedback.....anybody need a pretty solid Adventurer???????

I would buy it if you were not on the other side of the world, but if you can i think you should keep it and drive it thats a very straight truck.

im with lou3500 nice trk love to have it but way too far away for me dagnabit

I'm a Michigan (Northern) guy originally.....I saw the light at 22 years old and headed west. Good move....tons of rust free Dodge-Plymouth-Chryslers especially in the high desert.....wish I could get some of these great projects to the midwest. Most are good starters.....for example 1974 Plymouth Duster, 1973 Dodge Dart, 1968 Chrysler Newport, 1967 Chrysler T&C Wagon, another 1970 Dodge Pickup....two Dodge Rampage pickups....more. Probably not going to happen.....so I guess its up to me to get them back on the road....also a 1987(?) Dodge Magnum T-Top....a friend just made available to me....Yikes!!!!!

Id keep it and fix it up.. Wouldn't think twice about it.. Such a big difference in Cal next to anywhere north east of the Mississippi.. Where im at its near impossible to find a solid vehicle, I live on a dirt road and can spoil one myself in about 4 years.. Good luck on what ever way you go, it is a nice looking Mopar truck for sure!

Having a 72 Duster and possibly 69 Runner doesn't mean you only have to go one direction. I'm doing up my 70 Dart, next is a 67 Barracuda. I also have a 65 Valiant which I'm collecting parts to do a 4 speed swap. Then there is my 65 Fargo W300, which I have to swap the cab over from my clean 66 W300. You can go all directions, don't have to pick just one. I also have a 75 Ford 4x4 which I would like to paint sometime. Keep it!

Wow, it's a beauty!! I'm living on the other side so since i don't take it of your hands i recommend you keep it and cherish it! ;-)

Thanks...my folks lived in Tampa for 25 years...Dad sold a 1964 Plymouth convertible ...4-speed...Saddlewood metallic...white top...361....bench seat...Beauty.... to the local Tampa.Dodge Plymouth dealer in 1973. (near Tampa Gen. Hospital). He went back 4 hours later to re-claim it and they said..."Sorry...its gone. We can't tell you who bought it". I have looked for that car for almost 35 years...checked DMV....wrote letters....no luck! Just in case you happen to see it.....oh well.

Very nice truck thats in great shape i just bought this last eek for 800 and its not in near the shape yours is in , you can make them look great drop them about 4'' gives them a nice stance ,id drive it.

Thanks for the note....I'd like the side moldings on mine. Mine was repainted (who knows when)...not a great job but it seems to be holding up well despite sitting exposed for so long. I just picked up two Rampage trucks so this may go....we'll see if there is interest out there. I have a parts truck (1970) with the moldings on the side. Thanks for the feedback. I like the color on your truck....don't remember seeing the chocolate color.
