That is only 1410 miles a week based on 52 week or 210 miles a day. Not sure I would call it not sitting in on spot for very long. Some people actually buy trucks to use for other things than picking up the kids and groceries.

And some people only have one vehicle. And some people use that one vehicle all the time because they have to work, or whatever.

And then there are the people like me who have 10 vehicles that the mileage gets spread out on all 10. And other people like me who don't have to work for someone else, don't have to go anywhere they don't want to go, and have other things to do around home that are more important and more fun than driving around all the time.

Evidently my post seemed to disturb you, so much so that you felt you needed to defend the OP and attempt to put me down at the same time. I was just having a little fun with the OP, so don't get your panties all in a wad while you're out driving your truck for such other more important errands than what mine are. I've always wondered why they put this smilie :hifu:on here, but now I know, it must have been made just for you.

I did not attempt to offend anyone. Just stated some facts and the fact that some of us buy trucks that actually get driven for work purposes. There have been many a week over the years I wish 1410 a week had been it. In fact there were days when that was put on in a days time. So don't bash the original OP calling it just fun. And yes by the way I feel very offended. So if you don't want to disturb someone if the future just remember this is a truck form.
Now try to keep things civil and without the childish antics. Last I know personal bashing was not allowed.

Easy boys. I do get around. As a matter of fact I anticipate being in Springfield, Mo. later today.
My 2020 GMC is right around 26,000 or so.
The car I bought a long while back, that I figured was a throwaway car, has about 220,000 give or take. '06 Cobalt
As my dad used to say when we were all kids..."Go car, go."

I use to know some people that drove to work at least 5 days a week 150 miles one way and that was just their get to the office miles. Then what ever it took to get to the job site. Of course with company trucks. Motel rooms and expenses didn't kick in till they were 300 miles form the office.
Would not be hard at all to put those miles or more on in three years.

Back in the day I bought a new Jeep Sport for the wife. A '92. 59 1/2 miles each way to work and back. Didn't take long for it to get to 325000. One day she came home, closed the door and said I want a new car. She figured out it was never gonna break down. We gave it to one of the kids. She and her husband destroyed it in no time. First thing he did with it was a burn out.

Did not take him long to figure out the improper use of a Jeep did it.
