So I'm interested in swapping out my 5.9 LT Magnun for A Big Block , Possibly a Hemi, any advice is appreciated. Thx.

Be patient, in finding the mounts, and in installing the big block. Mounts are out there, RV mounts won't work. If you have the smaller brake booster, you're good, if you have the earlier wide booster, you'll need the later booster. Easy to tell the difference, the older one is wide, and flat, so to speak. The newer one is narrow and sticks out further. Obviously the proper transmission to go behind the big block.

For a Hemi (Gen II) you'd need to make your own mounts, I don't think anyone makes those in the aftermarket. You may need an offset booster bracket too, not sure the valve covers would clear.

Best of luck to you, keep us in the loop with whatever route you choose.

They are different from Big Block mounts? I am just thinking out loud, I didn't know if the B-bodies use the same mount for a Hemi or a Big Block. If they do I wonder if you can just use the truck Big Block mount.

Factory hemi had no side mounts. The late reproduction blocks do. My thought here would be money pit unless you already have a running hemi and lots of time to waste.

Elephant ears. They mount to the side of the block where it's flat.
