I just acquired a 1977 Dodge D100 Custom " True Spirit " stepside pickup. This truck has a factory 440 and is all original except for a set of headers.
I understand they did not make a lot of these and they were only sold in the California and Arizona markets. Truck is in great condition with no rust and only has 63K miles.

Does anyone know any information on this True spirit truck production numbers etc...?

Every picture I attempt to upload I get a message that it is too large for the server?

Google "downsizing pictures". Lots of uncomplicated ways to do it. You can do it online if you don't mind sharing your pix with a service. Here is an example: PicResize - Crop, Resize, Edit images online for free!

Program I use is "Irfanview", it can be downloaded here: https://www.irfanview.com/
I've used it for decades and it is very safe to use and will do just about anything you can imagine with picture files. It's free but they do ask for donations to offset their costs.

Ok here is a picture of the truck more coming

That looks great! And those are some crazy bumper guards on the back!

Yeah... those bumper guards are part of an after market bumper hitch setup. I will be taking that off soon.

Vey nice truck. I worked at a Dodge truck dealer in 77 and prepped a couple like that. Always liked them! 👍

Get lots of pics of the striping and rubbings to document them. You could send the info to one of the aftermarket graphics places so that they could be re-popped.

Never saw a "true spirit". Amazes me how many decal "special editions" were done for the 70's Dodge trucks.

Mr C Great idea I will do that. I plan on leaving the truck in patina with some dulled boiled linseed oil for now.
I the truck got wet on the way home and it looked good with a little shine on it.

Document those stripes, be anal about taking tons of measurements, record them all together for each side of the truck. Then be prepared when the decal company says "no". There sadly isn't much demand, and they won't be inclined to help you, not worth their time. But you can help others with trucks like yours if you share the information (measurements) with everyone. A group of guys got together to make correct Fury GT stripes, and finally found a place to create a small number of decal kits while footing the entire bill.

Wish you luck with the truck, they are cool.
