Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

Muddy is good! McD's has $1 single shot espresso, but you have to ask, one of those secret menu items. They have the same machine for Fufu as Kwik Trip/Kwik Star stations.

Weekend coffee update: hauled back this parts car in Saturday, setting off with a double shot of espresso from the golden arches.

Got the UHaul and went to Missouri to get it, always love a road trip. They gave me a Ford this time, and although I think the GMC's were pretty good, this sat higher, and felt more like a truck. I think the hitch was a few inches higher also, it handled much better at speed and didn't have near as much sway, and you could hardly feel it when it happened, just a tiny bit.

Morning fellas. I stopped by a local coffee shop owned by a Jamaican friend. Got a bag of Jamaica Me Crazy going today. Good stuff!

I'm now a McDonald's regular, $0.59 for a shot of espresso, I'm in! Got one after picking some parts, about an hour before work. Tool advantage of rh warmish weather.

So is this just a parts car for you or are you going to sell some parts?

Already sold the interior, probably sell the engine and transmission, keep some things for myself like the center section of the grille and the right surround, I like to have spare of those. Inner taillights are cracked, but the trim might be salvageable, outers for the pile I've got. I'm just trying to get as many parts that might be better than what I have. I'm going to miss that steering column, I like the tilt and telescope feature, but if it gets me money, I'll live without it. Now if my green Monaco needed one...

I am going to ass that on to Mopar Tim on FABO think he needs one.
Think he'd want it, being halfway across the country? He could have the guy getting the interior ship it to Cali, those parts are going to the San Diego area.

My house closing is supposed to be Friday. The only issue is the extra I want to add to the loan for efficiency upgrade, with a VA loan if your upgrading the furnace or water heater and it's a upgrade in efficiency they will tack it on. I sent the estimate from my furnace guy, they wanted it itemized better. Resent it, then they wanted a copy of the energy guide sticker, sent that, now they want to know how much it will save me each month. There is a lot of variables that figure into how much it will save me, so my furnace guy is going to have take a guess. It will be worth it in the end.

Closed on the house yesterday, $6000 extra in the loan for the furnace and a/c upgrade.:). I scraped one popcorn ceiling and then I found this method.

This was before and after scraping it, kinda hard to see it smooth. Then I remembered someone told me to wet it. $15.00 ace hardware sprayer and I got this.

Peels off soooo easy, the water makes it soft again because it is joint compound. Best $15.00 I may have ever spent

Stopped by the gas station that Laura used to work at, and got one of my last free coffees, four double shots of espresso! They fit into one cup, so that's what I did. (Thanks lady who told me that a few years back) It'll keep me fueled throughout the shift. No, I won't drink it all at once, got way too jittery when I did that last week, didn't realize how little time went by!

I can't imagine drinking 4 double shots at once, I have one to two cups in the morning and days that my buddy brings me a cappuccino I get a little jittery.

So as I am sitting sipping my first cup today I am coming up with my attack plan for later. I have 2 more popcorn ceilings to clean then I think I will start on nail and screw holes.

A double double shot for starting my weekend off. Just sipping it as the day progresses. I then got four cases of water, after Laura got four herself. I thought we were fine with here, but NOOOOO!!!!! I guess the world's going to end and we want to not be thirsty when it happens. :cyclops: :bucktooth: :muted: :vomit:

I'm going to move some parts from the garage to one of the storage units, clean the garage up just a little. Make room for the crap laying around the Dart to hide elsewhere. Then it's back to the parts car and disassembly continues.
