It is starting

Nice crisp 64 degree weather with a light breeze, perfect for finishing up my carb swap, going from a Holley 670 Avenger vacuum secondary to an Edelbrock 1407 750 AFB. Something's wrong with the Holley,it may still be useable, just need to go over it. Have the day off tomorrow to try to work on some car projects before I run out of time. I hope to have three vehicles ready by June, to rotate out each day at the big show. If this carb works, I'll have one car on the list.

Went to the Corvette show fri-Sun. Tell you what it sucked but the weather was great. A friends 1960 got stolen and he had a ton of parts for it to sell since he is now a Mopar guy. Definitely a line there of people one side of it had all the polo players the other side normal people. Glad I am on the get my hands dirty side. No one there really. Any one want a vette? Looks like it is brand new also!

Looks like a whole lot of work there. Gotta really love your vettes

Not my thing for sure. Did take a look at the C8 when I was there looks like a Ferrari to me, but after all the years they said they wanted a mid mount engine they finally did it starts around 90K!

90k + dealer charge. These first year cars will cost well over 100k. Plenty of other cars I would rather have for a lot less money.

Storage garage this early. Was upper 80s and humid here also. Humidity could not possibly be on count of the almost 5 inches of rain last Friday morning that is still drying up. Its supposed to be cooler tomorrow.

Morning everyone, we have perfect weather here with no humidity, summer seems to be coming to a end so we are draining the pool today, was a very mild summer here.

Careful Cindy, we're entering "False Fall". The temps may be dialing down, the rains starting to come back and the leaves changing color, but here in the PNW you know there's never a proper change of season. After a bit of rain and cool temps we'll snap right back to summer a bit before we properly get into fall

Ya I know K-Note72, but the nights are already cooler and the days are getting shorter quickly, Fall is the best time of year, have a good one.

Temps here have been in the high 60's and low 70's most of the week, getting cooler at night now. Love it, not that I want to see summer go, but I love the start of fall.

The earlier darkness is what bugs me. I know the clock is ticking for getting things worked on before they go to storage. And I still have to move a car that hasn't started all year. But the 90 temp from yesterday won't be around much longer. It was cooler today, too bad I couldn't have enjoyed it. Going back to work sucks.

2 days of 80's and quite humid today. Temps are supposed to be going back down though. Thunderstorms the last 2 days and yesterdays storm produced some tornado's, one quite close to me. We never heard a thing.

There was a tornado just inside the Eastern side of South Dakota that messed up a hospital pretty good. We just got a lot of rain.

We are nearing our normal wet fall period. If it starts like normal "no". Looking for another year of mud below the frozen surface.
