It is starting

Been going to the bathroom every two hours the last to nights. Not sleeping good. But when I do sleep I am out. I am setting a doctors office. Hopefully he can figure put what is going on.

Here's hoping you get a Doc that will at least TRY to figure it out instead of "Here lemme prescribe these drugs, now get outta my office"

Once again grounded. Don't like it when that happens. Picked up my meds and home to sleep. Got to call in again Monday and maybe change meds after test results come back.

Well I did not make it till Monday. But instead just made it home from R&R at the hospital if that's what one wants to call it. But definitely feeling lots better. That's the reason for three days of silence.

Enjoying the last month of hot and humid, gonna mow in the morning, got the camper back home Sunday, the truck works like a truck should.

Even matches the camper for the most part! Been a good learning curve, nothing dramatic to make more work out of anything, only a couple of small bumps. I'm sure we will use it as late into the year as we can, then stuff it deep in the alley. I've gotten better at backing up the rig, but I'm sure it's still entertaining for the neighbors, if they happen to be watching. I'd be laughing or shaking my head a time or two. Still need to get some proper mirrors, maybe next week.

You just have to forget everything you learnt about backing a bumper hitch. Mirrors are important.

Good thing is I suck at backing up a bumper hitch as well! Always a good time, or a painful one, when watching me work my magic. :woot:

When backing up do you use the mirrors or try to do it looking out the back window? One thing you might try is removing or covering up the rearview mirror. Its only purpose is useless when pulling a trailer. How many semi's do you remember seeing with a rearview mirror?

I got some extensions from @Polara_500 but they are for the square body trucks, '81-'93, and I have a '98, so they don't fit right. I used them a couple of times, but they just make it harder to see. Now I use my regular mirrors and I turn my head when turning into the driveway. Totally wrong, but it works for now. I use the mirrors once I'm in the alley, and I know my sightlines now. I also look at the angle of the camper through the rear window, and just go slow like grandma would. I'm just waiting on some overtime money and then I'll get some, but it's not much of a priority as Laura think we will only be going once more the year. Having a proper mirror will be nice, but I haven't had much drama so far. I'd make a terrible trucker, but a great Swift driver!

Actually, those are from my Dad's 97 Ram 1500. Your mirrors do look a bit more square (taller) than the ones on his 97 though.

I can't remember what my '94 had, but they were different than what the '98 has, probably the style your dad's had. I found a set online for $110, power adjusted like stock, and manual flip for towing.

That means cooler air is on its way some time. It is nice here this morning also. Rain possible the next couple of days.

Had a good T storm last night. Hot and humid here again today with pop up showers. Still cleaning up the distributors that got soaked from the great flood of Carlisle this year. Hopefully finish them today. Big ass pain for sure.
