Put new brake lines on the front of the 93 tonight can not believe they ran the hard lines under the engine and behind the rack and pinion. The fitting at the tee off the ABS where so rusty the line would not even come out. Will have to post some pictures of the new line routing after I get some brackets on them. Definitely will not be replacing them again from under the truck.

I need new lines for the front of my 91 Dakota. wear did you find the new lines at or did you have to make your own?

Made my own. Changed routing to passenger side. The line no longer goes where exposed to road chemicals.

I am going to have to make my own too. Are the lines 3/16? I need to order a roll of break line and forgot to see what size they are. Also what do you mean by changed routing to passenger side?

The 93 routed the brake line behind the steering rack to the passenger side. I wasn't about to remove the rack just for a brake line.
I just measured where I wanted it and bought made lines from NAPA.

That’s what I figured you was talking about. Well they must of started putting the brake there in 87. Lol because my 87 has it in the same spot and I can’t put my steering rack in, untill I replace my front brake lines. I was going to order a roll of it. Because I am just going to replace all my lines. Sorry to keep asking but do you remember what size the new brake was?
