that's cool it looks like it could have been a fire truck. thanks for looking for me but I am out here on the east coast N.H. .if one pops up around here I will be looking but a 72 Chrysler newport with 47,000 mile got my eyes right now .I need a rain car so if I get cot in the rain I wont care my road runner is to hard to clean the underneath of it .:eek:

Dodge sure never had that in mind when they built it!
Do you remember the front end kits for the 2dr Omni's, Daytona's, Etc. It had a K member to mount a Small block, rack & pinion, struts, all you had to do was back half the car. Instant race car. I saw one in a 86 Dodge and it looked like it was meant to be there

I found one of those kits, but decided to go full tube frame, due to being a Big block

I tried finding one when I had my 92 Daytona. They were floating around, but we're commanding too much money for justification. I could have made my own for a few dollars, and bought the rest of the stuff. It was a fun idea to chase for a while.

This is an old Polaroid of my Dodge collection I used to have - 1979 (still have the Dart). Its the only pic I could find of my 79 W200. The bottom is what I currently drive.

That '79 is a classic time piece! I didn't know they made a single headlight grille for '79 & '80, never saw any around here, or noticed I guess. That would be cool to have now, and the Charger, or all of them!

I wish I still had all 3 but at least I still have the Dart. Selling the 69RT is the worst memory - doing it to buy my first wife an engagement ring ('81). I do miss that Powerwagon too. I think a lot of (most?) 79s were the single round headlight and most, if not all, 80s had the dual rectangular.
