General Information

Gladys is my 1975 model F-250 Heavy Duty. Since it has a GVWR of 8100 pounds, it is essentially a one ton truck one 3/4 ton chassis. 8100 is a good bit heavier than even some F350s its same year.

It has the heavy duty front suspension and spring pockets. Factory front and rear sway bars. Large diameter front disc brakes with dual piston calipers.

It came with a Borg Warner T-18 four speed transmission with the double low first gear. It also has a Dana 60 rear axle with 3.73 gears.

Originally equipped with the 360 big block Ford engine, it now has a 351M small block tall deck Cleveland style engine. A warmed over 400 waits in the wings for a later date.
