It is starting

Last time I stepped on a skate board, I moved, went horizontal, and fell on my elbow, hip and knee, and only those points. That hurts when you are 270lbs.
How is the weather there? I tried to teach Bob years ago to skate board and as soon as he got on the board it shot out from underneath him and he landed flat on his back hard, and when I took him roller skating it look like he cleaned the floors with his clothes, so I know what your saying.
I hope you guys are not in all that dangerous weather I see on the news!

We're getting wet at the moment, nothing real bad though. My place is at the bottom right corner of the yellow box.

I am so glad we live in the upper left corner of the map where its green, The old metal sign was dropped off by our son, he told us his work thru some old signs out and some were so big they bent them in half so I told him on Monday dig them out and we can straighten them out

One more day of Hugh heat at work. Glad I'll be in a slightly air conditioned booth. Then it's 4 days of work outdoors at home, I hope it's cooler!.

Very nice weather on fathers day and today going to 80 degrees, Bob decided on fathers day it was time to do the changeover on the old 58, 235 4spd to a 350 and a auto trans

It's only going to get to 78 today!. Finish rebuilding the carb on the Mercury, then it's back to landscaping. 4 days off, 4 days on, then 13 off over the 4th of July weekend. Should be able to get all non car related things done so I can get back to my fleet and see if I can't get another on the road before the snow flies.

Our weather is up and down this week, looks like Thursday is road trip day, Bob got the motor installed yesterday and just needs to hang the exhaust and do some wiring and reinstall ft clip

We got a ton of rain last night, along with the best light show I've seen in years. So I stumble out of bed at noon, go outside and whoa! It's humid as, well not as bad as the Gulf coast, but pretty humid. And it was in the low 80's. I lost a lot of water. Going to get the last of the stuff we need to complete our landscaping project tonight, and I hope to hammer out the brick border tomorrow. Plants and rock to follow during my 2 weeks off. I have approval from the home office to get parts for my Dart, so those will be ordered tomorrow as well. Looks like I'll be beating the weather gods this time around!

Just wanted to show my dog. Oh wait, I meant the terrace that will have flowers in it. Laura started, but it's hard to get anything done with 2 young grandchildren around.

Nice it's been hot and humid here in southeast ia big storms last night about 4-5 inches of rain then hot and humid again I did surprise home improvements over the weekend and the better halfs only question was what did I buy lol I said nothing yet but still working on it hoping to do some more work on the power wagon this weekend though and maybe order some more goodies for the warlock

I love all the posts and pics, looks very nice and enjoy them grand kids!
It does feel nice to improve the looks of our property, but I hope I don't have to do this again. I'm too fat and out of shape!

I started today with 62 as the temp, and it only got to 74, thank you Mother Nature. I've used up all 3 yards of river rock, so I'll need at least one more yard for the rest of our project. Here's what it looks like so far:

Three sides of the house are done! Still have to do the side with the deck and continue on to the corner back by our garage, but I've been informed by corporate that all design plans have been finalized, no more changes. Eight plants to be planted, a border, some more plastic laid down and then rock. Someone drove by and told Laura out house looks like it should be out in the country, so mission accomplished, and early!
Now it's off to a roll in 45 mins away, but I won't have the Polara, as I have to get some supplies for the final phase of "let's see if we can kill Scott by making him do the landscaping". I'm down, but I'm not out!

Looks very nice, you do great work, how do you load the pic big like that? It rained hard all day yesterday so we went for a drive. Today I think Bob will finish our 58 motor swap.
