    It takes time. Will Bob ever be the old normal? Likely not. But sure sounds like they are trying their hardest to torture the poor guy.

    The hard plastic one (second picture) hooks into a hole in the firewall, the other slides over a short metal stub.

    Are you talking the flexible one (first picture) or the hard plastic one (second picture)? Both of these are from 73 Dodge

    Any factory stereo will fit and plug right in. Doesn't need to be form a truck. Some of the mini vans had some nice units.
