I paid good money for a new set of wheel centers. Now I find the insert is plastic and one has completely come off/separated from the "metal" ring, rendering it useless. Why plastic on a center cap? Dumb if you ask me.

Your right, dumb idea. Cost savings? Clean em' real good & epoxy it back on I guess. Might as well put epoxy on all of them. Won't be long till another one comes apart & you loose it all together. I have plastic centers on my 95, but they are held on by the lug nuts.

RTV silicone make a good adhesive also. Just make sure it cures out before putting in use.
