okay i have two options keep the truck (1980 dodge w150) that barely runs and will need a load ton of money to get fixed or trade it for a 1974 plymouth duster that runs but here's the catch it doesn't have a title. so what do you think?

How hard is it to apply for a lost title in your state? Some states, it's a matter of a few days and others... well, forget about it.

What are the titling/registering requirements in your state? Some states do not require a title for a vehicle older than 1975.

See if the other person has at least a bill of sale with the name of the previous owner. I'd try to contact them before making a trade.
