i have a 2000 silverado 2500 with a vortec 6000, im the second owner the body has 230,000 it has had 2 motor and 3 tranny jobs done at the dealer. drive it daily and haul my cars to the drag strip on my open steel trailer on the weekends. it runs great, shifts great, just giving me lots of electrical problems lights, dash, etc. and the box has a side bashed in from a first time trailer driver(little brother). Anyways, i have a deal on a 2 ton 55 chevy with a 2spd rear end and no motor or tranny. wondering if i put that motor in to that truck if it would do ok. id probably put a roll back on it.
