Hey all been a while since I posted on here. I've been working on my 89 d100 and now I have a question for anyone that may have done something like this. The truck has a 3.9 fuel injected engine, I'm pulling the motor and trans to regasket everything and clean it up. I would like to clean up the engine bay and get rid of any vaccume lines that I can. Has anyone done this and is it possible? I have a hard time believing ALL of them are needed. Any help is appreciated.

That truck doesn't have near as many vacuum lines as some of the earlier 80s ones did. .

Maybe so but it doesn't look nice under the hood. End game is I have a 318 to put in it and then I can get rid of almost all of the vaccume lines. That's a project for another day though so I can build it the way I want it and be done.
