Turbine Wheels

Anyone know what color the inside of the slots are supposed to be on the turbine wheels?

I've seen turbines that have a flat black between the spokes, kind of a satin finish. I've also seem them raw cast, like an old school slot that's gotten that patina, but I think the paint wore off.

I've seen most silver or an argent with the face of the spokes raw or machined
