Transmission swap

96 Dakota, 5.2 auto. Want to swap to a 5 or 6 speed auto. Anyone know if it's possible.

Anything's possible if you have enough money. Practical likely not unless you know a lot about computers and vehicle systems.

If you can find a stand alone system to operate the trans it wouldn't be too bad, trying to use a factory computer to operate it would be difficult if not impossible
