We need some more info, what year, make, model are you dealing with? I can't tell what your dealing with from just those numbers, other guy's maybe will be able to.

You sure about the 2.8? In 93 the engine should be a 2.3, 3.0 or 4.0. I haven't seen a 2.8 in a Ranger since the 80's
