I am a native Californian born in Hollywood.

I left California as a young boy with my parents due to them becoming involved with the Civil Service which involved globetrotting with my parents throughout the United States as well as overseas.

After a couple of career changes in addition to starting a family, I returned to California as an adult back in 1974. Within the year, I became employed at Stanford University with their Reprographics Division and left after 11 years due to the President of the University shutting the whole division down and laying everyone off.

I experience yet another career change by going back to school and acquired an AA in Electromechanical Drafting Technology.
I entered the ‘High Tech Industry’ as a Drafter and built up my career over time to become an ElectromechanicalDesigner.

I ultimately became a Document Control Management Specialist after I made one final career change to become more involved with the Documentation, Engineering Drawings, Protocols and Procedures, Compliance issues, etc, dealing with the FDA, ISO, and International Standards and so on.

I am now unemployed once again because of a total companywide layoff due to my last employer being purchased by anther Medical Device firm.

At this point in my career I should be retired, but cant because of the down-turn of our economy, the job market, as well as the housing market.

Because of unemployment, I am forced to sell ‘my toys’ that I really never planned on selling. Currently have a 1954 Dodge ½ ton pickup for sale along with my (4) 1956 Chryslers.

You can see them on Craigslist for a short period of time:

Welcome to the site and sorry about the unemployment and having to sell your toys.. Hopefully life turns around and you can keep them!
