hi fellow rammers.i have a 1984 d100 and i would like to drop in a 318 polyhead and transmission out of a 1966 fury 2.
Any information on what i need would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard from NJ! Yea, what he said !☝️
Please post pictures when you get a chance! 🙂

it is a fresh rebuild and runs pretty strong for what it is.the /6 in my truck is shot.
i already have the poly and transmission so i want to use it rather than buy a new
one.

is that original paint? (besides the artwork/logo, that is) Most 2 tone trucks that era had the top color more than just on the roof, it extended to the upper bodyline. My 85 is same 2 colors as yours. wanting to redo it (probably stock colors) but not sure I want to put the trim back on (mainly because I am missing some) and looking for a decent way to make the break between colors, without hiding it under that trim. I'm keeping the /6 in mine, have a fresh one on teh stand, with a few improvements from stock. I like the idea of a Poly head 318. It's different but should bolt up the same as the newer LA series engine. Mounts and trans bolt pattern-wise, anyways. and it seems there are more "hop up" parts for the Poly, and less of a "laughingstock" engine, than the 318 that would have been stock, in those years.... and I'm not complaining, I've had plenty of 67-up 318s over the years/ personally, I love em.....

As far as I know it is original. Story is the art work was painted on in 1984.the truck belonged to a old gentleman up in Tennessee that owned a service station .Anyway the truck went up for sale after he passed. This was his shop truck. Inside the truck is near perfect for it's age.no body work has been done except for paint touch up over the year's.
