Pass exhaust mani

Will non a.i.r. Exhaust manis directly bolt up in place of my smog manis without changing exhaust?

You have to make sure that they have the extra meat to cover the passage or you can take a 1/4"-20 tap & tap the passages so far & tighten set screws into them & use the original mani

The original is broke.

when put the "new" manifold on , bolt on the first time torque it only 70-80 % of full torque, after 5-6 full heat cycles take to full amount, they seam to seat better. if it starts to leek be for that go a head and take to full torque

Moe, I have to agree with you about the torque I do this even when I use copper or aluminum header gaskets with them
