Notifications for new likes, conversations and a lot more can be sent to your phone! Its called Pushover.
Eventually this will work for all our sites.
The one downside, the app for your phone or tablet costs $5.
Pushover client is available for iOS and Android
Step one: Sign up for a Pushover Account here: Pushover: Simple Notifications for Android, iOS, and Desktop
Step Two: Get the app for your device
Step Three: Click your username and then External Accounts
Step Four: Click Subscribe to Pushover
And that should be all you need to do!
